On Tuesday, 14 September 2010, Democratic and Republican voters in Maryland will elect their Central Committee members and also select their parties' candidates for the following offices: - -Governor and Lt. Governor
- -MD Attorney General
- -MD Comptroller
- -US Senator
- -US Representatives
- -State Senators and Delegates
- -County Officials
If you're in line by 8 p.m., you will still be allowed to vote. Can't get to the polls that day? Early Voting Centers are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM continuously (voters in line at 8:00 PM may vote) on September 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9. (closed on Sunday). Deadline For Absentee Ballot Applications Date and Time: Tue 7 Sep 2010 - 04:30pm - 11:50pm Any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot.
Your request for an absentee ballot application must be received (not just mailed) by the deadline:
* For the primary election, the deadline is Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Your request must be received by 4:30 pm if you mail or deliver the application or 11:59 pm if you fax or email it.

As of October 1, 2010, Maryland drivers are prohibited from using hand-held cell phones while behind the wheel.
